About Kristin

Kristin Melonas is the Founder and Principal Clinician at Good Days Health. She is an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist, trained at the University of Queensland, with clinical experience spanning occupational rehabilitation, disability support, paediatrics, neurological care and psychosocial disability.

Kristin began her career in occupational rehabilitation, where she developed a strong foundation in functional assessment, capacity building and supporting people to return to meaningful daily roles. She later moved into the disability sector, where she found a long-term professional home in helping people and families navigate the everyday realities of disability with more confidence and support.

Her clinical interests include paediatric occupational therapy, neurodiversity-affirming practice, psychosocial support, graceful ageing, Parkinson’s disease and dementia care. Across these areas, Kristin focuses on helping clients build independence, participate in meaningful routines, and improve quality of life in ways that are realistic for their home, family and community.

Kristin’s approach is also shaped by lived experience. As a neurodivergent therapist with ADHD, and as a mother of two young boys, one of whom is neurodivergent, she brings both clinical knowledge and personal insight to her work. This gives her a grounded understanding of the strengths, pressures and daily problem-solving that many individuals and families carry.

Alongside her clinical work, Kristin has supported the development of other occupational therapists through clinical education and mentoring. She is passionate about building a practice known for thoughtful care, clear communication and therapy that genuinely fits the person in front of her.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys strength training, weekend runs, camping, cooking, good conversation and time with her friends, family and sons.
