What Ongoing Occupational Therapy Looks Like (When It’s Done Right)

Not every participant needs an assessment. Some need ongoing therapy - support that adapts over time as goals evolve.

At Good Days Health, we provide responsive, in-home occupational therapy across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast for participants aged 9 - 65.

What is Ongoing OT? Ongoing OT supports people over time with:

  • Daily living skills

  • Capacity building

  • Cognitive and physical rehab

  • Return-to-function goals

We work flexibly - weekly, fortnightly, or as needed - and tailor each session based on the participant’s progress, environment, and support needs.

What Makes it Work?

  • The same OT where possible

  • Clear communication with coordinators and families

  • Regular reviews to align goals with the participant's capacity

We see therapy as a partnership - working with the participant, not just on them.

Who is it For? Ongoing therapy is ideal for:

  • Participants needing long-term support

  • Neurodivergent clients seeking consistent functional coaching

  • Clients with chronic conditions or gradual goals

How to Start

  • Submit a referral or contact us

  • We’ll confirm capacity within 1 business day

  • Initial goal-setting session to follow shortly afterward

  • Ongoing therapy begins (in-home, community, or telehealth)
