How AT Assessments Work – Beds, Wheelchairs, Aids & More

Assistive technology (AT) can make daily tasks safer, easier, and more independent.

At Good Days Health, we provide OT-led AT assessments across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold Coast. These assessments are NDIS-compliant and support funding for a wide range of equipment.

What We Assess:

  • Electric beds and pressure care mattresses

  • Manual and powered wheelchairs

  • Mobility aids (walkers, crutches, hoists)

  • Transfer and safety equipment

  • Postural and seating support systems

How it Works:

  • We visit the client at home or conduct a telehealth session

  • Assess the person’s functional needs and daily routine

  • Identify suitable AT options

  • Provide a report with supporting clinical justification for NDIS

Who It's For:

  • NDIS participants seeking new or upgraded equipment

  • Clients recently discharged from hospital or rehab

  • People whose mobility, comfort, or safety has changed

Turnaround Time: Reports are completed typically 1-3 weeks. We’re responsive, evidence-based, and experienced in matching AT to goals.
